Though I've made amends with the once evil computer, now viewing it as yet another tool

from which to create, nothing beats the messy play that comes with a hands-on piece.

Most especially, colored pencils, oil pastels, Crayola crayons and heavy-bodied acrylics!

Paint has a fluidity and freedom to it and can be mixed with such vibrancy that it's eas-

ily a great pleasure to work with. And work with it, I do, from boxes and various house-

hold knickknackery to walls and canvas.
