visual and graphic design featuring a variety of digital and print projects aimed to promote each company, brand, product, or service with clarity and vibrancy in message and imagery- solid solutions that meet goals like telling a story, increasing engagement, conveying an over all look and feel, and that ultimately grow profit! It's a joy to collaborate on a project in determining a direction, to research information and components, analyze and filter what's best used, and then set to the work of discovering how best to communicate with meaning. View a brief case study below.
My design process entails the following steps:
EMPATHIZE • In way of understanding the challenge, I get to know the wants, needs, and objectives of the intended users.
DEFINE • Through gathering findings and identifying patterns, I can nail down a clear statement of the problem to be solved.
IDEATE • I explore and provide a number of ideas through multiple techniques, narrowing them down to a top few to move forward with towards the best solution.
PROTOTYPE • I create a scaled down version of the likely solution that incorporates ideas identified in prior stages. Discovering flaws and boundaries in this stage points to what can be improved and signed off on versus reworked.
TEST • Testing may then lead back to re-examinations of insights gained in past steps to further adapt and refine the final end product.
Imagine an art exhibit centered around the visual and tactile satisfaction of knitted patterns in their many forms. The exhibit is sponsored by Nearby Noodles, a local eatery featuring swift and satisfying noodle dishes in a trendy environment.
A media campaign was created to promote both the exhibit and eatery, and to highlight their visual parallel likenesses in a playful
and vibrant manner.

TOYS R US
a number of projects that I've most enjoyed working on in recent years in my time spent with local companies. Whether presented a concept and running with it, or developing the project myself, I've worked with sales, marketing, product developers, fellow designers, and backend developers to present and promote the best we had to offer, designing and drawing everything, often writing my own copy as well, especially if it lended itself to the punny.
Behind the scenes, I've also created much less fancy work, both digital and print- site graphics, infographics, trade show graphics, forms, packaging die lines, and more.
