And then, there was a turtle! Today's lunchtime walk at the Nature Center presented me with a trail buddy. Rounded a slight bend to find him commanding the path. We chatted briefly while he posed for pics. Further on the path, a troop of littles stood at the ready between their two fearless leaders stationed fore and aft. I mentioned a turtle sighting just up the way, and with the directive of "Onward, troops," they were off.
