So there’s this part at the beginning of the movie Tammy. Tammy, played by Melissa McCarthy, accidentally hits a deer with her car. She immediately gets out to tend to the creature, getting down on the ground face to face with it even, armed with a pep talk and a readiness to go the extra mile. “That’s you, that’s so you,” my sister whispers at me. I smile and nod sheepishly, knowing it’s true.
