LA POST 4 The Bob Baker Marionette Theater was a retro delight! The more museums we visited, the more I saw this place's merch in each of their gift shops, a darling of the city. Its charming set of decades-old puppets came to life at the hands of the puppeteers, each puppeteer clothed in red to blend with the surrounding red curtain and carpet. Those sitting on the floor up front (Edie) were graced with various puppet visits throughout the show- one may "sing" a portion of song upon a knee, or swoop in close and back out again to the musical beat. The meet and greet after the show included a tasty treat, making the whole experience literally all the sweeter. For lunch, (Danny) Trejo's Tacos were atop our list for a must visit and we weren't disappointed! This tough yet affable actor offers up tacos and more at multiple LA locations (with one in WA state now) and his mug is placed on merch throughout the joint reminding you just who to thank for the stellar meal.
