WE SPENT A

WE SPENT A

LA POST 2 We spent a day playing Hollywood tourists, the town's notable smell of ever-lingering urine never far from us. We started with a stop at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery housing the remains of the gone too soon and oh so talented Anton Yelchin. Final resting places always manage to hit home the finality of our human suits here on earth, bringing gravity to what's most important in life. We followed the visit up with lighter fare at Hollywood Funko where Jurassic Park's Ian Malcolm beckoned. The sight of Grauman's Chinese Theatre and many a star along the Walk of Fame kept us company as we made our way to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, followed by hotdogs and more at the historic Tail o' the Pup. Throughout all our days, we wove in time to drive by a variety of famous film locations and celebrity homes- The Golden Girls, the home of Michael Myers, Johnny Depp's castle, the sleek modern home of Keanu Reeves, and the Chateau Marmont among others.
