WHAT A PERFECTLY

What a perfectly fun long birthday weekend! Started with silly crafts with my mom and Edie followed by lunch and Wings Over Washington at the Seattle waterfront. Grateful for a generous Mom! She said that it was on the behalf of my dad. And then...

WHAT A PERFECTLY

I was so glad to get away amidst the search for a new job position after layoffs hit my former company in recent months. Bean, Shane, and Edie made time for a surprise overnighter to explore various bits of Oregon. My head's spinning with a whirlwind of public art, little library stops, a charming children’s book store, a waterfront park, antiquing, and more across multiple cities. And the treats- ice cream cones donning li'l chocolate cowboy hats (because why not), giant donuts, stuffed cookies, cheese charcuterie, a variety of delish meals, and a Milk Bar pancake-themed(!) birthday cake. Really, you deserve photos for it all, but these'll suffice- Pix-o-matic served up a novel mix, morning coffee was procured from an old British double-decker, Pietro's Pizza (hello, nostalgia), glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and a larger-than-life troll visit. Thanks for letting me (over) share! A lovely meal with longtime friends is next up in rounding out the birthday festivities.
