SOMETHING I'M LOOKING

Something I’m looking forward to at some point?

The clink of glasses

And settling of forks

Music wafting

Muffled chatter

A server checking in

The kitchen clatter of plates

And weight of a cloth napkin in my lap

Company across the table

Much of this happens currently at home, but there’s an experience made when they all mingle together and I’m sitting amidst it all.

Like when Bean and I saw Art Garfunkel share from his book of poetry and general musings last year.
